Arunabh Sarkar (born May 29, 1941) is a Bangladeshi poet,〔http://www.thedailystar.net/story.php?nid=4897〕 columnist, literary editor, and freedom fighter. He was born in Tangail, Bangladesh. He received the 2009 Bangla Academy Award for poetry,〔http://www.bdnews24.com/details.php?id=154662&cid=2〕 the most prestigious and highest award for poetry in Bangladesh.〔Bangla Academy Award#Recipients〕 Arunabh also received the Tangail Sahitya Sangsad Poetry Award for 2007.〔http://www.thedailystar.net/story.php?nid=6284〕 He has published three collection of poems : ''Nagare Baul'', ''Keu Kichhui Jane Na'', and ''Narira Fere Na''.
